Mody Institute of Technology and Science has been an old institute in the history of the Rajasthan. This institute has received the status of the deemed university by the act of the UGC of the year of 1956, but the institution came into being in the year of 1989. Popularly speaking the institute is located in the district of Sirkar of the state of Rajasthan and is the only proper girls’ institute of the town.

More popularly so, due to its huge campus, facilities and the number and the quality of courses that is well imparted in the university.

Speaking about them, the university has three different faculties in operation within the campus. these faculties reside with the names of faculty of engineering and technology, faculty of management studies and faculty of arts, science, commerce and law. All these faculties, their departments and the teaching staff of each has been working diligently since their inception to the university to help the studying girls to achieve the quality that has been longing for girls for longing the Indian history.

The courses offered by the universities under these faculties are B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA and PhD for the engineering and technology faculty. As for the faculty of management studies the courses offered are MBA and PhD. And for the third faculty the university offers the basic degree graduate and post graduate courses in all the disciplines like languages, applied sciences, accountancy, commerce and law.

The admission to the university can be taken by the annual forms that may be sold out or by the common entrance exam conducted for all the state colleges by the state government of Rajasthan.

The facilities on the huge campus of the university range from the hostel to laboratories, computer centers with internet connections. Proper and adequate extra- curricular facilities like sports. Most importantly a huge library serving the reading the informational needs of the students and the faculties as well.
