Candidate seeking to pursue M.Tech in Computer Science from any of the recognized Institute, must have completed the Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Master's in Science with a minimum of 50% to 55% aggregate marks from a recognized University or Institutes [Depending upon the eligiblity criteria of the Institute] beside having a sufficient background in Computer Science. Candidate appearing for the final examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply. Admission to most of the Institutes are based on valid score obtained in Graduate Apptitude Test in Engineering [GATE] in Computer Science. The duration of the program is two years.

For pursuing M.tech, you have to give the graduate aptitude technical exam(GATE),
For the eligibility of this exam, you should be having a minimum of 50% marks in your graduation or a minimum of 55% of marks in your bachelor of science degree.
