Indian Institute of Science Education and Research is a premier institute under the Government of India. The institute comes under the Ministry of Human Resource development of India. The major objective behind the establishment of the institute was to promote education and research in the field of science. Five new IISERs have been planned across the country. The IISERs present at Kolkata, Pune, Mohali and Thiruvananthapuram performa all their functions under the control of Kolkata Extension Centre of IIT Kharagpur. IISER Kolkata came into existence on July 11, 2006.

Job Profile:

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research is recruiting eligible candidates on the posts of Project Engineer, Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) and Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical):

1. Recruitment of Project Engineer:
Educational Qualification: Graduation in Civil Engineering with atleast 60% marks in aggregate.
Age Limit: Candidates must be below 45 years of age.
Pay Scale: Total emoluments is Rs. 44148.

2. Recruitment of Assistant Executive Enginer (Civil):
Educational Qualification: Graduation in Civil Engineering with atleast 60% marks in aggregate.
Age Limit: Candidates must be below 40 years of age.
Pay Scale: Total emoluments is Rs. 36970.

3. Recruitment of Assistant Executive Enginer (Electrical):
Educational Qualification: Graduation in Electrical Engineering with atleast 60% marks in aggregate.
Age Limit: Candidates must be below 40 years of age.
Pay Scale: Total emoluments is Rs. 36970.

Selection Process:

Eligible candidates will be shortlisted from all the applications and then only they will be called for the personal interview test. Indian Institute of Science Education and Research possess the right of cancelling application of any candidates, if he fails to fullfill all the eligibility criterias.

Interested applicants must send their complete application form in the prescribed format alongwith the other required documents. A DD for Rs. 200 drawn in favour of REGISTRAR, IISER TVM on State Bank of India, State Bank of Travancore or Canara Bank payable at Thiruvananthapuram is also required as non refundable application fee.
