M.Sc Nursing in Community Health
The course is intended to prepare different qualified nurses that can operate as a nurse manager and also carry clinical leadership roles. The course also helps the candidates to explore his or her talents in the adult or child nursing. These specialized activities also help to provide links for the improvement of the individual knowledge and also allow flexibility in the master level criterion. This course also plays an important role in the preparation of the advanced practice.
Eligibility:
The candidates who want to pursue this course must possess a bachelor level degree of Nursing from a college or University that is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council. The candidates also have to secure a minimum of 55% in their bachelor level degree. The aspiring candidates also have to attain a minimum of 1 years of experience in the field of nursing in at least 100 bedded hospitals. The candidates should also be mentally fit.
Course Outlook:
The duration of the course is two years. The course is also available in the part time form, for which the duration is one or one and a half years, depending upon the discretion of the Institutes.

The candidates that have successfully under taken the course, are recruited in various hospitals across the nation as a senior nurse that are responsible for giving assistance to the different nurses that are junior to them.
