Information Technology or commonly known as IT is defined as the study, design, development, implementation, and management of information systems, usually computer applications. Information Technology is also one of the hottest courses in the educational market of India. The prospects of IT professionals around the globe are constantly expanding. IT professionals perform various duties ranging from installing applications to checking and maintaining databases and networks. The study of IT was started by the Information Technology Association of America (ITAA). Students having the knowledge of IT have an extra advantage as all jobs or sectors in today’s market scenario require expertise in this field.
Course Outlook
The course of M.Tech in Information Technology is of two years duration. These two years are further divided into two semesters each. Nowadays, other than full time courses, students also have the options of going for part time courses in M.Tech in IT while being engrossed in
their jobs.
Eligibility Criteria
In order to be eligible for this aforesaid course, candidates must at least be graduates having passed their B.Tech or any other bachelor’s degree from any respectable university.
