National Institute of Siddha organizes M.D (Siddha) Entrance Exam every year for admitting students into the Doctor of Medicine in Siddha Medicine course offered at the institute. This course will be of 3 years duration. Admissions will be strictly based on the score in this entrance exam.

Structure of National Institute of Siddha M.D (Siddha) Entrance Exam

The questions of this exam will be of objective nature. For each of the correct answers, the candidates will be given 1 mark.  0.25 marks will be reduced for every wrong ones. The total time allotted for this exam will be 3 hours. The students need to score 50% marks to qualify in this test.

Eligibility Criteria

A pass in the B.I.M / B.S.M.S Degree Examination from any recognized University is the basic qualification to apply for this exam. They should have successfully completed Compulsory Rotatory Resident Internship (C.R.R.I) program as well. They should have obtained these qualifications before the date as mentioned in the brochure. The students must have registered in either State Council of Indian Medicine or else in Central Council of Indian Medicine.

How to Apply?

The students have to pay fee as DD in favour of “Director, National Institute of Siddha” which is payable at Chennai. The cost of the application form will be Rs100. The form can be downloaded from the official site or else can be collected directly from the office.

How to fill the Form?

One should be very careful while filling up the form as any small mistake may sometimes lead to rejection of their applications. Name of the candidate as well as their personal details should be entered very carefully in respective places. Qualification details needed to appear for this test must be entered very carefully in specified blocks. No important columns that are necessary for applying for this test should be left blank.
