Jaypee Institute of Information Technology organizes entrance exam for the selection of candidates to its various Ph.D programs. On the basis of marks secured, the candidates will be admitted to the institute for the doctoral course in various disciplines.

Structure of Jaypee Institute of Information Technology Ph.D in Electronics and Communication Engineering Entrance Exam

The entrance exam will consist of questions from the core and compulsory subject areas that the candidates have studied in their M.Sc programme. The exam is conducted mainly to estimate the candidates’ depth of knowledge and the potential to carry out the research work. The total duration of the exam is 120 minutes and the maximum mark that can be scored is 100 marks. The candidates have to answer as many questions as possible within the constrained time period.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates those who have completed their M.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or allied fields from a recognized university are eligible to apply. They should also possess a minimum aggregate of 60% or corresponding CGPA. Those in the final year of M.Tech program can also apply for the exam.

How to Apply?

The application forms can be downloaded from the official website of the Institute www.jiit.ac.in. For this, the fee payment of Rs. 500/- has to be done in the form of DD drawn in favor of Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, payable at Noida / Delhi. After filling it fully, the application form along with the required enclosures must be sent to ‘The Registrar’, Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, A-10 Sector-62, Noida, Uttar Pradesh - 201307. The form can be also made available by means of post for which a request along with the demand draft has to be sent.

How to fill the Form?

Only the correct and valid information should be entered in the application form. Every column has to be filled giving the correct details. Make sure that, even a single and minute mistake is not made while filling the form. Recheck quite a lot of times to assure this. Also ensure that the application form along with all the necessary documents reach the concerned address before the deadline.
