Bihar Kshetriya Gramin Bank shortly called as BKGB came into existence in the year 2005 on the 12th of September and the bank was established by amalgamating three Gramin Banks. The head quarters of BKGB is located in Munger and its branches are located in 120 different places in the state of Bihar in different districts. The bank is wholly sponsored by the UCO Bank and Government of India.

Bihar Kshetriay Gramin Bank has called for online applications from eligible Indian citizens domiciled in the state of Bihar for the position of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and the details regarding the notification issued by the bank in this respect are given below:

Name of the Vacancy: Office Assistants (Multipurpose)

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 112, which is divided among the different categories of candidates as follows:

General – 63

OBC – 30

ST – 01

SC – 18

Period of Probation – One year and this is extendable by six months

Pay Scale: The initial emoluments will be Rs.12880/- per month inclusive of HRA and DA plus other allowances as per the rules of the bank. Appointed candidates will be coming under the pay scale of Rs.7200-400/3-8400-500/3-9900-600/4-12300-700/7-17200-1300/1-18500-800/1-19300.

Eligibility requirements:

Educational qualification: To apply for the position of Office Assistant in Bihar Kshetriya Gramin Bank, candidates must be graduates in any discipline from a recognized university and they should be proficient in Hindi. Desirable qualification is knowledge of computers.

Selection Procedure:

Selection will be based on the performance of candidates in written test and interview. For detailed information regarding written test and its syllabus and venue, candidates can visit the notification page at http://www.bkgbank.in/clerk_advetisement.pdf. The written test is proposed to be held on 15th of January 2012.

Cost of application:

The application fee to be paid by SC/ST/person with disability is Rs.50 and the amount to be paid by other candidate is Rs.450. This amount should be paid by the candidates through UCO Bank challan form-01 as given in http://www.bkgbank.in/challan.pdf. After filling in the required details in the challan form, the fee should be credited to the UCO Bank Account No. 04280210000274 and the name of the account is BKG Bank Recruitment Project-2011. Once the fee is paid, candidates will have to retain the candidate copy of the challan to be produced at the time of interview. Application fee should be paid between 1st and 30th November 2011.
