Andhra Pradesh Grameena Vikas Bank is operating from the state of Andhra Pradesh with the city of Warangal as its headquarters and out of the total shares of the bank, 35% is owned by the State Bank of India, 15% is owned by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and remaining 50% of the shares are owned by the Government of India.

Name of the Vacancies:

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 69, which is divided among the different categories as follows

• Officer Scale II  - 61

Out of the 61 posts, 01 post pertaining to Officer Scale – II is reserved Orthopedically Challenged candidates.

Pay Scale:

• Officer Scale II  - 19400 – 700/1 – 20100 – 800/10 – 28100 (approximate monthly emoluments Rs.30,351 per month)

• Officer Scale III - 25700 – 800/5 – 29700 – 900/2 – 31500 (approximate monthly emoluments Rs.40,208 per month)

Period of Probation: Two years for both positions

Eligibility requirements:

Educational qualification: the position of Officer Scale II includes vacancies for security officers, marketing officers, treasury officers, law officers, chartered accountants and information technology officers and specific educational qualification is required for each of these positions and for the position of Officer Scale III. Age Requirement: Age requirement for the position of Officer Scale - II is between 21 and 32 years as on the date of online registration and for Officer Scale –III the maximum age limit is 40 years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates.

Selection Procedure:

Selection of candidates will be based on their performance in written test followed by interview. The written test is fixed to be conducted on 25th of September 2011 at 2.00 pm for both positions. Application fee:

Candidates will have to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs.1000, which is inclusive of postal charges and SC/ST candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs.100, which is postal charges alone. Candidates residing in Warangal, Sangareddy, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Khammam, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam districts can pay the fee through any of the branches of APGVB and others can pay fee through any branches of SBI. The fee should be paid through appropriate challan applicable for SBI and APGVB for Officer Scale II and Scale III position. The fee should be paid between 27th of July and 22nd of August 2011 before online submission of application.

How to apply:

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility requirements, will have to apply online through the website of the bank at http://www.apgvb.com/apgvb.htm between 27th July and 23rd of August 2011. Once application is made online, the system generated print out should be kept by the candidates for future reference.
