HI, Age limits for IBPS(institute of Banking Personal Selection): The candidate age should be between 20 years to 30years as on 1st june of the year of examination. Upper age limit is given to the SC/ST candidates. Five years age relaxation is given to Ex-service man. Ten years relaxation for Person with disabilities. Three years relaxation for OBS candidates. Five years relaxation for SC/ST candidates. For IBPS,the candidate must have a graduate degree from any recognized university or equivallent qualificaton. All the best.......................... |

The upper age relaxation is applicable for other categories as per govt rules. 3 years upper age relaxation for OBC candidates. 5 years upper age relaxation for SC\ST candidates. 10 years upper age relaxation for PWD candidates. IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. Every year IBPS conducts common written exams for the recruitment of following positions in various public sector banks
Clerical positions PO positions Specialist Officers You did not mention the specific position for which you want to know the age criteria. However, here I am providing the eligibility criteria to appear for IBPS PO Exam. Academic Qualification : You should have completed Graduation with minimum 60% of marks. Graduation in any of the stream is eligible. Age criteria. The candidates from General category should be in the age group of 20-30 years of age. Relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category. Relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 5 years for the candidates of SC/ST category. For this academic year, the IBPS Exam for the recruitment of PO positions will be conducted in the month of July or August. I suggest you to have good preparation for this exam as you have ample time in you hand. Age limit: 20 – 28 years (For both PO & Clerk) for general category Education: - 60% marks in graduation for applying for PO CWE Passed in degree for applying for Clerical CWE. Literacy in computers in compulsory for both cadres. The applicant must either have a certificate in computer operations OR should have computer as a subject in school/college. |
