Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank has invited applications from eligible Indian candidates for the post of Officer MMGS-II and MMGS-III and the details regarding the notification issued by the bank for the same are given below:

Name of the Vacancy: Officer MMGS-II (Post code – 02) and Officer MMGS-III (Post Code – 01)

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 21, which is divided as follows:

Officer MMGS-II - 20

o SC - 03

o OBC – 05

o ST – 01

o General – 11

Officer MMGS-III – 1 (General)

Pay Scale: Officer MMGS-II will come under the pay brand of Rs.19400-700/1-20100-800/10-28100 and Officer MMGS-III will come under the pay brand of Rs.25700-800/5-29700-900/2-31500.

Eligibility requirements:

Educational qualification:

Officer MMGS-III: Candidates must have completed their degree in any discipline with not less than 50% of aggregate marks. Preference will be given to candidates with degree/diploma in disciplines like agriculture, accountancy, horticulture, economics, forestry, law, animal husbandry, management, veterinary science, information technology, agricultural engineering, agricultural marketing & co-operation, information technology, marketing, finance, banking and pisciculture.

Officer MMGS-II: This post has several sub-positions like information technology, general banking officer, agriculture officer, marketing officer, treasury manager, marketing officer, agricultural officer and law officer. Age: Officer MMGS-II – Minimum 21 and Maximum 32 years

Officer MMGS-III - Minimum 21 and Maximum 40 years

Selection Procedure:

Written test followed by interview will be the criteria for selection of candidates. The written test is fixed to be conducted on 08th of January 2012 for both positions. Application fee:

Candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs.300, which is non-refundable and inclusive of postal charges and SC/ST candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs.50, which is postal charges alone. The fee should be paid through APGB Fee Payment Challan form No-3 at all branches of Syndicate Bank by downloading the challan from the website of the APGB Bank. Fee payment can also be paid by NEFT from any other bank to the account of APGB with Syndicate Bank main branch, Kadapa to the account No. 31901050000030 (IFSC CODE SYNB 0003190). Fee should be paid between 29th of September and 28th of October 2011.

How to apply:

Candidates meeting the requirements, will have to apply online through the website of the bank at http://www.apgbank.com/careers.htm between 29th September and 28th of October 2011. Once application is made online, the print out should be kept by the candidates for future reference and no other means of application will be accepted.
