Cauvery Kalpatharu Grameena Bank came into existence in the year 2006 on the 24th of May and this bank was formed by bringing together Kalpatharu Grameena Bank and the Cauvery Grameena Bank. The bank is sponsored by the State Bank of Mysore.

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 117, which is divided among the different categories as follows

Officer Scale I  - 10

Officer Assistant (Multipurpose) – 107

o SC - 19

o OBC – 31

o ST – 08

o General – 49

Out of the 61 posts, 01 post pertaining to Officer Scale – II is reserved Orthopedically Challenged candidates.

Pay Scale:

Officer JMG Scale I  - Rs. 14,500.00 – Rs. 25,700.00 (approximate monthly emoluments Rs.23,099 per month)

Office Assistant (Multipurpose) - Rs. 7,200.00 – Rs. 19,300.00 (approximate monthly emoluments Rs.11,470 per month)

Period of Probation: Two years for officer position and one year for Office Assistant (multipurpose) position.

Selection Procedure:

Selection of candidates will be based on their performance in written test followed by interview. The written test is fixed to be conducted on 25th of September 2011 for the position of Officer JMG Scale I and on the 9th of October 2011 for Office Assistant (Multipurpose). Application fee:

Candidates will have to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs.350, which is inclusive of postal charges and SC/ST candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs.75, with the help of challan in the format given in the website of the bank. The fee should be paid through the appropriate challan to the Current Account Number: 6407837900, which belongs to State Bank of Mysore. Three copies of challan should be kept by candidates for future reference. The fee should be paid between 22nd of July and 12th of August 2011 before online submission of application.

How to apply:

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility requirements, will have to apply online through the website of the bank at http://www.ckgbank.com/ between 22nd July and 12th of August 2011. Once application is made online, the system generated print out should be kept by the candidates for future reference.
