United Bank of India (UBI) is one of the major commercial bank of the country, established in the year 1950. The head quarter of the bank is situated at Kolkata. Mr. S. C. Gupta is the chairman as well as the Managing Director of the United Bank of India. There are 28 regional offices of the bank with 1453 branches spread all over the country. Actually the Union Bank of India cam into existance as a result of the merger of four bengali banks i.e. Commila Banking Corporation, Comilla Union Bank, Hooghly Bank and Bengal Central Bank in the year 1950.

Job Profile:

Candidates can apply for the posts of Security Officer on the probation period of 2 years depending on their educational qualification.

Eligibility:

Candidates should not be more than 38 years of age as on 1 January 2010. Relaxation will be provided to the reserved category candiates as per rules of Government of India.

Educational Qualification:

Degree from any recognized university is required as the minimum educational qualification for applying for the above specified posts in United Bank of India.

Pay Scale: The prescribed salary of Rs. 13820–14320 will be paid to the selected candidates.
