Structure of Osmania University M.Sc Physics Entrance Exam

The entrance exam questions are objective in nature. The duration of the entrance exam is ninety minutes. The total number of questions in the entrance exam is hundred. Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should obtain a minimum of 40% in B.Sc. Another important criterion for the candidate is to have studies physics and mathematics in the undergraduate course. The candidates under the SC/ST category need only pass mark in the qualifying exam.

How to Apply?

Application forms along with ICR sheet can be obtained from the Osmania University Press. The cost of the application form is Rs 100/-. The candidates can find the application form in the official web site www.osmania.ac.in. The candidates can fill the application form after downloading. The candidate has to send a DD of Rs 300/- for the course to the concerned authority. Another way of obtaining the form is through post. The candidate has to send a DD of Rs 100/- to the Director, Osmania University. The candidate needs to send a self addressed envelope also along with the DD. The demand draft can be taken from any nationalized bank in favor of Director, Publication and Press, Hyderabad. The demand draft are to be payable at Hyderabad. The completed application forms are to be sent to the Director, Osmania University. A demand draft of Rs. 150/- should be sent along with ICR sheet and the application form.

How to fill the Form?

The candidate need to fill both Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR) sheet and application form. The candidate should read the instructions carefully as specified in the brochure before filling in the form. The candidate should take utmost care while filling the application form. The candidate should the fill the application form personally. The applicant should enter their name as in the degree certificate while filling the ICR sheet. The candidate should leave one box after writing the first name to write the surname.
