The Padmabhushan Vasantdada Patil Pratishthan’s College of Engineering is in Mumbai. The college was established in the year 1991. The college is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. As the name suggests the institute is after the name of the late Chief Minister of Maharastra. It is registered under the Societies’ Registration Act 1860.  It is approved by the AICTE.

Campus

The college spreads its wings over a total area of about 300,000 square feet of land. The college is a very huge one with all the basic amenities. There are parking lots and lawns for the students. There is a huge auditorium and the laboratories are all air conditioned. Even some of the class rooms are air conditioned. There is gymnasium for the students and also there is hostel facility for the students of the college. there are different rooms for the workshops and various other activities that take place.

Courses Offered

There are five different courses that the college offers to its students. They are Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology, Computers, Electronics, Electronics and Telecommunication and in Marine Engineering.

Admission Procedure

In order to get admitted to the courses the studnts shoud be present in the merit list in the MHT-CET and in the AIEEE. The MHT_CET is conducted by the state and the AIEEE is an all India Examination. The subject combination requires Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

The college has a very good record of placements with companies like the Vistex, Vodafone Essar, Accenture, TCS, Capgemini and other MNC’s visit the campus and recruit students in their company.
