Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board came into existence in the year 1997, which is the 50th year of Indian Independence and it was mainly to mark this year DSSSB was formed by the Government of NCT of Delhi.

Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board has invited applications from eligible candidates for various positions under Group B and Group C position among which the position of Pharmacist in Health & Family Welfare Department comes under the category of Group C position and here are the details regarding the qualification requirement for this position:
Name of the Vacancy: Pharmacist in Health & Family Welfare Department (Post Code: 03/11)
Number of Vacancies: 31 (SC-31 including OH (OB, BL) – 01 and EXSM- 03)
Period of Probation: One year
Pay Brand: Appointed candidates will be coming under the pay brand of Rs.5200-20200+GP of Rs.2800.
Eligibility requirements:
Educational qualification: Candidates must have completed their Bachelor of Pharmacy course from a recognized institution or candidates with 10+2 in science stream with biology, chemistry and physics from a recognized board with approved diploma in pharmacy from a institution recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India and must have registered as pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948.
Age: Candidates must be between the age group of 18 and 30 years and upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC candidates, upto 15 years for SC & PH Candidates and for departmental SC candidates with three years of continuous service, the relaxation applicable is maximum age limit of 45 years accordance with government rules of central government.
Process of recruitment:
DSSSB will be conducting a combined Part I preliminary objective type examination for a duration of one year and Part II Main descriptive type examination for three hours at one go. Application fee:
The cost of application for this group C position is Rs.50 and this fee should be paid in the form of DD drawn in favor of the Secretary, DSSSB. Candidates can get the application from the office of DSSSB on all working days except Saturday and Sunday between 10:00am and 05.00pm.
How to apply:
Application in prescribed format as given in the website of DSSSB should be copied on a white sheet and duly filled application along with other documents and DD to the application receiving counter, Office of DSSSB, FC-18, Institutional area, Karkar Dooma, Delhi-110 092 and even application can be sent through post to the office of DSSSB before the 17th of November 2011.
