Jiwaji University was established in the year 1964 as an affiliating university. The university is situated in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India with a rural campus. The university is affiliated to University Grants Commission. The foundation stone of the university campus was laid by the then present of India, Sarvapelli Radhakrishnan. The university provides or offers affiliations to the institutes in six districts of Gwalior and Chambal Division. Hourable Shri Rameshwar Thakur is the Chancellor of the university. Professor Mazaahir Kidwai is the Vice Chancellor.

2. Recruitment of Associate Professor:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Ph.D. degree with atleast 60% marks in aggregate in the appropriate branch with a good academic record throughout. Candidates should also possess minimum of 8 years in teaching or research field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 9000.

3. Recruitment of Assistant Professor:
No. of posts: Only 22 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Ph.D. degree with atleast 60% marks in aggregate in the appropriate branch with a good academic record throughout. Candidates should also possess minimum of 3 years in teaching or research field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 8000.

Application Fee:

An application fee of Rs. 100 is need to be submitted by the interested candidates, who belongs to the General and OBC categories candidates. Those candidates, who belongs to the reserved categories (SC/ST), must submit an application fee of Rs. 500 only. The amount of application fee is non refundable. Application fee should be paid through the means of a Demand Draft drawn on any Nationalized Bank. The demand draft should be made in favour of Registrar, Jiwaji University, Gwalior.
