Tata Institute of Fundamental Research was established on June 1, 1945 at Mumbai by the Government of India. It is a research institute which offers postgraduate courses or education to the students in the country. Professor Mustansir Barma is the director of the institute. The institute was established under Department of Atomic Energy of the Government of India. The institute is considered as one of the outstanding research centres present in the country. The admission in the institute in any course is done through a conduct of a written examination.

Job Profile:

Candidates will have to work independently on netwrok projects and therefore they are required to have experience in maintaing antivirus package. Candidates are also required to have good communication skills for both the posts i.e. Scientific Officer and Project Assistant.

1. Recruitment of Scientific Officer:
Posts Available: 1 post
Eligibility: Candidates should not be more than 31 years of age and should have atleast 1 to 2 years of experience.
Educational Qualification: B.E. or B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science/Telecommunications with atleast 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized institute or university.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay of 5400.

2. Recruitment of Project Assistant:
Posts Available: 1 post
Eligibility: Candidates should not be more than 28 years of age and should have atleast 1 to 2 years of experience.
Educational Qualification: B.Sc. or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science with atleast 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized institute or university.
Pay Scale: Consolidated pay of Rs. 17000 will be paid to the selected candidates per month.

Selection process:

Interested candidates will have to undergo the personal interview session with the selection committee for getting selected for the above specified posts in Tata Institute of Fundamental Research.
