Dear Sir,
Currently I am doing my MCA(final year) from Netaji Subhas Open University in distance mode. Is it possible for me to do ph.d after MCA without doing M.Tech ? Please tell which universities will allow me to do that and details of procedure to apply,scholarships etc.

there are very few universities which are taking MCA students for PH.D . I give you a list of some of them..
1.Tata institute for fundamental research,mumbai
2.Chennai mathematical institute, chennai
3. Indian Institute for science, bangalore

There is possibility of doing Ph.D in computer science after a person completing his/her M.C.A. However this probability or possibility purely depends on which university, he/she opts to his/her Ph.D. It is highly advisable that the person need to get in touch with the doctoral or Ph.D. department or coordinator in the university and understand about the topics that are yet to be researched specific to computer sciences and upon getting the appropriate guidance from university, he/she can go ahead with further plans and procedures that are to be followed.

1.graduation & post graduation from UGC or AICTE approved recognication with regular basis course is required.

2.minimum 60% marks in graduation & 55% marks in post graduation is required.

Yes it is possible to do Ph.D. after MCA you can do it from IIS Chennai mathematical institute.

1.graduation & post graduation from UGC or AICTE approved recognication with regular basis course is required.
2.minimum 60% marks in graduation & 55% marks in post graduation is required.

yea after MCA you may do P.hd. may be you do not have M.Tech degree.

there are scholarship also available for P.hd. you will get about the information on scholarship from the website www.freshersworld.com. also from your p.hd institution you will be able to know about the scholarship. under whom you will do p.hd he will also help you to get the scholarship.

basically two exams are there
gate and net these exams will lead you in good university like iits, nits, iiits and other central university

some university conduct thier own interview like state university of karnatka, jntu so you may go for either of these options

if you will go for phd you will be awarded per month scollar ship i.e. 16000 for first two years and 18000 onwards

Ph.D. requires active research, constant contact with the guide assigned to you and active tutorship if you are offered assistantship or tutorship. It is essentially an on campus course.

What is the last date?

yes you can do ph d in various univrsities like anna university,SRM,NITs etc.

The eligibility is graduate with 60% in graduation.

If you want to go for Most popular IITs and IISc,than you have to appear for the GATE exam which is conducted every year in the month of feb.

After scoring good marks in GATE you have chances to apply in IITs and IIsc.

The eligibilty creteria for GATE is only passed in Graduation.
No age limit.

After clear the GATE exam there are different process for all IITs.
After Clearing the GATE exam if you go for Phd than you will get also scholarship (Around 14000 to 17000 per month) in all IITs.

If you have not valid gate score then you cant do phd programme. Only m-tech student without valid gate score are applicable.

All universities does not offer Phd after MCA.

Some universities offer.

But to get admission for P.hd, you have to be a 1st class in masters or post graduation.

i.e 60% in MCA.

-Jamia Milia Islamia University

-Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University

You have to contact the university and among them, some may take yearly entrance exams.

-Go with a perfect strategy by dividing the portion of subjects and allotting required number of days for each subject.
-Practice as many as problems you can with a time limit to improvise your ability to solve a given problem.
-Do solve all previous papers of GATE atleast of past 10 years for sure.
-Make a habit of preparing notes which makes you to revise easier and faster manner.
-Memorize all necessary formulae.
-Practise shortcut methods.
-Be 100% accurate at aptitude and verbal part to increase scoring.

I have completed my graduation in 2012 i.e this year only in BSc-IT & now I have joined a job 2 months back. So I am pursuing part time MCA from Sikkim Manipal University (Distance Learning). Can I opt for Phd after that ??? If yes please tell me which subject suits the best & which university should I choose to apply for PHd.

Yes it is possible to do P.hd after MCA .
you should fulfill the listed below eligibility criteria:-

You should have completed graduation as well as post graduation from a recognized AICTE and UGC university.(with regular basis of course).
You should have scored minimum 60% in graduation and 55% in post graduation.

Yes you can do Ph.d after MCA. If you do ph.d through then it is a very good choice because you do MCA.
There are many researches which are related to computer science and very advanced now a days.
There are many colleges offering ph.d but best colleges are in Banglore and Chennai.
