Radhamadhab College formally came into existence in the year 1971 on the 31st of May and the college earned affiliation form the Gauhati University in the same year for Bachelor of Arts course. The college is presently offering Bachelor of Arts both honors and pass course, Bachelor of Commerce pass course and some short-term courses with affiliation from the Assam University.

Eligibility for seeking admission to the B.A (honors) course:

For getting into the Bachelor of Arts (honors) course offered by the Radhamadhab College, candidates must have completed their higher secondary examination with not less than 40% of marks in the concerned subject irrespective of the division they have chosen at the higher secondary level.

Career Guidance Cell:

The college established its own career guidance cell on the 4th of October 2002 with the below-mentioned objectives:

• For imparting training on personality development of students

• To extend information on career options, premier institutions for higher education and eligibility requirements for seeking admissions to higher education in premier institutions

• To guide the students in selecting the right career according to their merit

Centre for Extension Education:

Radhamadhab College established a centre for extension education in the year 2002 with the objective of involving the students in optimum utilization of education and nation-building activities for the welfare of the society. The mission of the centre is to the devote its resources and energy in development of economy of the nation by way of social service.

Computer Centre:

Radhamadhab College has a computer centre, where administrative staff and faculty members are offered with basic knowledge of computer. The centre offers training on basic computer knowledge to its BA students on payment of Rs.100 at the time of admission and students are offered with free access to internet facility.
