The Rajendra Agricultural University, established in 1978, was shifted to the existing building at Pusa in 1981. The courses are offered at Certificate, Under-Graduate, Post-Graduate Diploma, Post Graduate, and at Ph.D levels. This university selects eligible candidates for B.Sc course through the entrance exam.

Structure of Rajendra Agricultural University B.Sc Entrance Exam

The eligible candidates are selected on the merit basis. The list shall be prepared with 50% weightage to marks obtained in qualifying exam and 50% weightage to marks obtained in the entrance exam. The written exam has three sections. The total marks for each part is 50. The candidates can take at most 2 hours 15 minutes to complete the three sections together. Each question carries 1 mark as there are 50 questions in each section.

Eligibility Criteria

• Only female candidates are admitted to the course
• Permanent residents of Bihar are eligible
• Minimum qualification needed is 12th pass with PCM or PCB from a recognized board
• Lower age limit is 17 years

How to Apply?

The forms are available from the sale counter of the Rajendra Agricultural University. To get the application, general candidates have to pay Rs. 550/- and reservation candidates should pay Rs. 250/-. The forms are also obtained by post from the university office. For this, the applicants have to send a request letter along with a DD of the same amount as mentioned above. The applicant must have drawn the DD in favor of Comptroller, Rajendra Agricultural University, Pusa payable at Punjab National Bank, RAU, Pusa Branch. The student is also needed to enclose a self addressed 30 cm by 25 cm envelope. They should affix a postage stamp of Rs. 50/- along with the request letter. The application form can also be procured from the official website of the university www.pusavarsity.org.in. During the online submission, the student has to attach the bank draft as mentioned above and a self addressed envelope pasted with postage stamp of Rs. 25/-.

How to fill the Form?

• Read the information brochure thoroughly
• All the entries in the box have to be entered in block letters only
• Put the space provided for office use vacant
• Make sure that three passport size photographs from same negative are pasted at suitable places
• Send the completed application and the DD to the address mentioned in the brochure
• Send completed application in time so that it reaches the destination before the last date
• Write the name of the applicant on the back of DD
• Keep a Xerox copy of the DD and the filled application form for any future clarification
