The National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) was established in the year 2007 under the Government of India. The major objective behind the establishment of the institute was to provide a research institute in the state for performing scientific researchs. The foundation of the institute was laid by the Prime Minister of India. The institute came into existence on August 28, 2006. Mr. T.K. Chandrashekhar is the Director of the institute.

National Institute of Science Education and Research is inviting applications from eligible Indian Nationals for filling up the following vacant non academic positions of Scientific Officer E, Scientific Officer ‘C’ (Veterinary), Assistant Personnel Officer, Assistant (Hindi) and Operator.

1. Recruitment of Scientific Officer E:

Educational Qualification: Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. Minimum 4 years experience in teaching or research field is required.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 7600.

2. Recruitment of Scientific Officer ‘C’ (Veterinary):

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. Minimum 2 years experience in relevant field is required.
