National Institute of Open Schooling was formed on November 3, 1989. The institute is actually a Government Board of School Education with its headquarter located at Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The institute is the Board of education for open school in India. The institute was established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The main aim of the institute is to provide education facilities to the remote areas of the country. The institute is quite similar to CBSE and CISCE, as it also administers examinations for Seondary and Senior Secondary examinations of open schools.

Job Profile:

Candidates are invited to apply for the following vacant positions of Secretary, Assistant Director (Administration), Section Officer and Assistant Audit Officer in National Institute of Open Schooling. The selection of candidates will be made purely on direct recruitment basis.

1. Recruitment of Secretary:
Age Limit: Maximum age limit set for the post is 56 years.
Educational qualification: Candidates must have done Master’s degree from a recognized university with atleast 55% marks in aggregate. Knowledge of computer applications or operations is must for this post. Candidates should also working knowledge of English and Hindi languages. Candidates with Post graduate degree or Diploma in Management are also eligible to apply for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 8700.

2. Recruitment of Assistant Director (Administration):
Age Limit: Maximum age limit set for the post is 37 years.
Educational qualification: Candidates must have done Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with atleast 55% marks in aggregate. Knowledge of computer applications or operations is must for this post. Candidates should also have working knowledge of English and Hindi languages.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.

3. Recruitment of Section Officer:
Age Limit: Maximum age limit set for the post is 37 years.
Educational qualification: Candidates must have done Graduation from a recognized university with atleast 55% marks in aggregate. Knowledge of computer applications or operations is must for this post. Candidates should also have working knowledge of English and Hindi languages.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4600.

4. Recruitment of Assistant Audit Officer:
Age Limit: Maximum age limit set for the post is 56 years.
Educational qualification: Candidates must have done Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounts, Commerce from a recognized university with atleast 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Knowledge of computer applications or operations is must for this post. Candidates should also working knowledge of English and Hindi languages.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4600.

Selection Process:

The final selection of best suitable candidates will be made through the conduct of a Personal Interview Test. Only shortlisted candidates will be called to appear in the interview test with the selection committee.
