National Insurance Company Limited has invited applications from graduates/HSC for the recruitment of ‘Assistant’. Around 2600 Assistants will be selected for various Public Sector General Insurance Companies. Applicants can register online through the website of NICL. Selection is based on written test, Interview and computer proficiency test, conducted by the company. Topics like Reasoning, English Language, and General Awareness are asked for written test. Total emoluments for selected candidates will come around Rs.15000/-.

Selection Process for NICL ‘Assistant’ Recruitment 2013

Selection is on the basis of Written Examination, Interview and Computer Proficiency Test. Candidates qualified in written examination can attend interview and computer proficiency test. A candidate should satisfy all eligibility criteria and should qualify for written examination/interview/computer proficiency test for being a part of the final list. The written test consists of;

  • Computer Knowledge—50 marks
  • English Language — 50 marks
  • General Awareness — 50 marks
  • Numerical ability — 50 marks
  • Reasoning —50 marks

The total of 250 marks is reduced proportionately to 35 and interview is carried out for 15 marks. Then, the final total will be 50. After qualifying the written test, candidates need to appear for Computer Proficiency test. No separate marks are given to Computer Proficiency test. Candidates must download their call letter for the exam from the company website.

Application Process for NICL ‘Assistant’ Recruitment 2013

All applicants should be graduates from a recognized university or should have passed HSC examination/equivalent with 60% marks (Person with disabilities, SC/ST and Ex-servicemen require 50% marks). Thorough knowledge in regional language is essential. Such candidates with valid email ID can apply online through the official website of NICL. Candidates should follow the instructions related to online application and fee payment. Application fee for attending the test is different for male and female candidates. Application fee for males is Rs. 220/- and that for females is Rs. 120/-. The photograph and signature of the applicants need to be scanned and uploaded during the filling of application. Once the application is duly filled it can be submitted online along with their photograph and signature. After that candidates get a bank challan generated by the system stating every details of the applicant. The print out of this challan should be produced in nearest bank for the purpose of appropriate fee payment in cash. Candidates can take printout of fee payment challan and application from the website after 3 days from the date of receipt of fees. This document is necessary for attending the written exam.
