Central Armed Police Forces (CRPF) has invited applications from graduates for the job profile of ‘Assistant Commandant’. Eligible candidates can submit applications till 5th August 2013. Selection of eligible candidates is made through written test, physical efficiency, medical standard test, and interview/personality test. There will be two papers for the written test, Paper I and Paper II. Paper I contains questions on general mental ability, general science, current events, Indian polity and economy, Indian history, Indian and world geography. Paper II comprises questions on general studies, essay, and comprehension. Candidates who have cleared the written test are only considered for the further stages of selection process.

Selection of eligible candidates for the profile of ‘Assistant Commandant ‘in CRPF are made through a three stage process.

  • Written Test
  • Physical Efficiency and Medical Standard Test
  • Interview/Personality Test

Written Test for Asst Commandant Recruitment in CRPF 2013

Written test for selection of ‘Asst Commandant’ is conducted by UPSC. There will be two papers for the written test, Paper I and Paper II. Paper I include objective model questions on general ability and general intelligence. Questions from this section are asked for 250 marks. Syllabus for Paper-I is given below.

Paper II comprises questions on general studies, essay, and comprehension. Candidates can expect questions on precis writing, comprehension, and verbal ability from this section. Maximum marks awarded for the session is 200 marks.

Physical Efficiency and Medical Standard Test for Asst Commandant Recruitment in CRPF 2013

Candidates having cleared the written test are subjected for physical efficiency and medical test. Physical efficiency test is conducted through activities like 100 meters race, 800 meters race, long jump, and shot put. Medical standard test is conducted to check whether the candidate is medically fit for the job.

Interview/Personality Test for Asst Commandant Recruitment in CRPF 2013

Final stage of selection process is interview/personality test conducted by UPSC. The section is conducted for 150 marks. Final list of selected candidates are made on grounds of written test and interview/personality test.
