Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) was established by the Central Government under the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948. The major objective behind the establishement of the corporation was to protect the interest of workers in problems like Sickeness, Maternity etc that results in the loss of wages or earning capacity of the workers. The major function performed by ESIC is to administer the scheme. The prescribed scheme was actually implemented in the year 1952 at Kanpur and Delhi.

Employees’ State Insurance Corporation is looking forward to recruite eligible Indian nationals on the following vacant positions of Social Worker, Medical record Technician (Senior), Laboratory Assistant, Plaster Assistant, Junior Radiographer, Dark Room Assistant and Dresser.

1. Recruitment of Social Worker:

Age Limit: Candidates should be atleast 32 years of age as on 31 May 2011.
Educational Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Social Work from a recognized institute with minimum one year experience in social work.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.

2. Recruitment of Medical Record Technician (Senior):
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be atleast 32 years of age as on 31 May 2011.
Educational Qualification: Graduation from a recognized university with minimum six month training course certificate as MR Technician.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.

3. Recruitment of Laboratory Assistant:
No. of posts: Only 5 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be atleast 32 years of age as on 31 May 2011.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed Senio Secondary or 1-+2 or equivalent from a recognized board or university. Candidates should also possess Diploma in MLT from a recognized institute.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2000.

4. Recruitment of Plaster Assistant:

Age Limit: Candidates should be atleast 26 years of age as on 31 May 2011.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2000.

5. Recruitment of Junior Radiographer:

Age Limit: Candidates should have age in between 18 to 27 years.
Educational Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with minimum one year experience in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2000.

6. Recruitment of Dark Room Assistant:
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be atleast 27 years of age as on 31 May 2011.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board alongwith Diploma or Certificate in Radiography from a recognized institute.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 1900.

7. Recruitment of Dresser:
No. of posts: Only 4 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should have age in between 18 to 27 years.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board with atleast one year experience in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 1800.

An application fee of Rs. 100 is need to be submitted by the General and OBC categories candidates. SC/ST/EXSM categories candidates are exempted from the payment of this application fee.
