Sri Sathya Sai University, Puttaparthi
One of the universities in Andhra Pradesh with a cultural bent is Sri Sathya Sai University, Puttaparthi. This university works with the motto of providing good education with a strong foundation. The university is diverse with three campuses. Let us learn more about these campuses:
1. Prasanthi Nilayam Campus: This campus is specifically for men and here one can choose from under graduate courses, post graduate courses and professional courses. Along with education, emphasis is laid on the research part as well. There are many facilities which are provided to students here for their comfort and exposure. These facilities are central library, computer center, instrumentation center, new technology lab equipments, multi media learning center and modern planetarium. Here, in this campus there are many courses for students to choose from. One can choose from 5 under graduation courses, six post graduation courses, four professional courses and two research programs. These research programs are for one and a half years and are M.Phil and Ph.D.
2. Anantapur Campus: This is another campus which comes under Sri Sathya Sai University, Puttaparthi. This is a women’s campus and it is formed in order to provide good education to girls who cannot go far off to pursue further education. Facilities like library, sports, labs and girls hostel is provided for the students. This campus for women offers twelve under graduation courses, four post graduation courses, one professional course i.e. B.Ed. and two research programs same as the previous campus.
3. Brindavan Campus: The third and the last campus of Sri Sathya Sai University, Puttaparthi is Brindavan Campus. This campus is for under graduate education only and renders to higher education for men only. This campus is located in Bangalore. As this campus is for under graduation studies only, there are five under graduate courses offered here for the students.

We wish to join our child in I st standard at puttaparthi school. We came to know that there is an entrance test. Kindly provide the pattern/module of entrance test and syllabus. Present my child is attending Balavikas kendra at Vijayawada Satyasaibaba mandir on every sunday. Pls provide the information about syllabus & Pattern/module and also provide is there any preferred books (provide the details of publisher)
