High Court of Madhya Pradesh is authorized by Consitution of India. The court was established in the year 1936 and it is located at Jabalpur. Initially, the court was established with the name of Nagpur High Court in the year 1936 under Government of India Act, 1935. But later on, the court was moved to Jabalpur and hence its got its present name. The strength of the sanctioned judge of the court is 42. Mr. Syed Rafat Alam is the present Cheif Justice of the court. The court has two permanent benches at Indore and Gwalior. Mr. M. Hidayatullah was the first Chief Justice of the court after it got its present name i.e. High Court of Madhya Pradesh.

Job Profile:

Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for the recruitment on the vacancies of System Officers and System Assistant in High Court and Subordinate Courts of Madhya Pradesh under e-courts Project. The recruitments are to be made purely on Contract basis.

Eligibility:

Candidates interested in applying for any of the two specified post i.e. System Officer and System Assistant in High Court of Madhya Pradesh, Jabalpur, should have age not exceeding 35 years. In case, candidates are having age more than 35 years, they should not apply for any of the post as their applications will be summarily rejected by court. No information is available regarding the age relaxation for reserved categories candidates.

Educational Qualification:

System Officers: B.E. or B.tech in Computer Science or Information Technology with atleast 60% marks in aggregate. Candidates possessing Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent are also eligible to apply.

System Assistant: B.Sc. in Computer Science or Information Technology or BCA from a recognized university with atleast one year working experience in relevant field. Post Graduate degree holder with atleast 60% marks in aggregate are desirable for the post.

Candidates having qualification less than the prescribed ones, should not apply for the respective post at all.

Pay Scale:

System Officers: Consolidated salary of Rs. 11500 per month.

Selection Process:

The recruitment process of shortlisted candidates is comprises of only a written examination followed by personal interview test that will be held on 14 June 2011. Only qualified candidates of written examination will be allowed to sit for the interview. The final selection of candidates will be made only on the basis of performance of candidates in interview test.

How to apply: Candidates should arrive on time for the written test and personal interview test on 14 June 2011. Candidates are also required to bring their original certificates at the time of written/interview test. Shortlisted candidates will not be informed personally by the court. List of shortlisted candidates will be published on the official website of High Court.
