Navsari Agricultural University began its journey as a College of Agriculture in the year 1965 and it has earned the status of a separate university for agricultural education with effect from the 1st of May of 2004. The university is engaged in extension, research and educational activities in the faculty of agriculture, horticulture & forestry, agribusiness management, veterinary science and agricultural engineering.

Navsari Agricultural University has called for applications from eligible candidates for the positions of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor to work for the veterinary faculty of the university and here are the details regarding the notification issued in this respect:

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 25, divided among the different positions as follows:

Professor – 02 (ST-01, OBC-01)

Associate Professor – 16 (General – 10, Sc-01, ST- 03, OBC – 02)

Assistant Professor – 07 (SC-01, ST – 04, OBC-01, PH-01)

Pay Brand: Pay scales fixed for each of these positions are given below:

Professor – Rs.37400-67000+AGP of Rs.10000

Associate Professor – Rs.37400-67000+AGP of Rs.9000

Assistant Professor – Rs.15600-39100+AGP of Rs.9000

Age: The age requirement for these positions is given below:

Professor – Not more than 55 years

Associate Professor – Not more than 45 years

Assistant Professor – Not more than 35 years

The cost of application is Rs.500 and this amount can be paid in the form of cash if it is obtained in person from the campus of the university. Application can also be downloaded from the website of the university at www.nau.in and in this case, application fee of Rs.500 should be paid through Indian Postal Order or Demand Draft drawn in favor Navsari Agricultural University Fund Account.
