MARKFED is the Punjab State Co-operative Supply and Marketing Federation and it contributes towards the research and development operations in the state of Punjab through Punjab Agricultural University located in Ludhiana. Recruitment by MARKFED, Punjab:

MARKFED, Punjab has called for applications from eligible candidates for various positions and here are the details regarding the notification issued in this respect:

Name of the Vacancies: Internal Auditor, Deputy Chief Accounts Officer, Management Trainees and Senior Accounts Officer

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 21, divided among the different positions as follows:

Internal Auditor – 04 (SC-01, General – 03)

Deputy Chief Accounts Officer – 02 (SC-01, General- 01)

Management Trainees – 04 (SC-01, General- 03)

Senior Accounts Officer – 11 (SC-03, General- 05, BC – 01, Ex-Servicemen – 01, handicapped - 01)

Pay Brand: Pay scales fixed for each of these positions are given below:

Internal Auditor & Deputy Chief Accounts Officer – 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.6600/- initial  pay Rs.25250/- plus allowances admissible

Management Trainees & Senior Accounts Officer – 10300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.5400/- initial pay Rs.20300/- plus allowances admissible

Eligibility requirements:

Educational qualification:

Age: To apply any of the aforesaid positions, candidates must be between the age group of 18 and 37 years of age as on the 1st of January 2011. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and BC candidates and by 10 years for handicapped candidates.

Mode of selection:

Candidates will be selected based on their presentation in the written examination and there will not be any interview. The written test will be conducted for 100 marks in total.

Application fee:

The cost of application for general category candidates is Rs.700 and for SC/ST candidates it is Rs.350. Ex-servicemen are exempted from payment of application fee. The fee should be paid only in the form of DD/pay order/banker’s cheque drawn in favor of Punjab State Co-operative Supply & Marketing Federation Limited payable at Chandigarh.
