University profile: It came into existence in the year 2004. It is a premier agricultural society providing a large variety of courses for the students. It has excellent facilities of research and development also. The main aim of the university is to work for human resource development through vocational training, to provide technological solutions to the problems in the field of agriculture etc.  

Job profile: The professors will be required to teach and train the students in various fields such as agriculture, horticulture, forestry etc. They will also be required to provide them high quality knowledge and help them with their projects and any other academic difficulty.

Eligibility: A candidate should be 55 years or below in age. However, relaxation can be claimed as per the rules.

Educational Qualifications: A candidate must have a first class bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks with a PhD degree with a minimum of 10 years experience out of which 5 years must be as an associate professor. A candidate must also be an eminent scholar with a high quality published work.

Pay scale: The professors will be given a pay scale of Rs16400-22400 (pre revised) with the usual allowances as per the rules.

Selection process: The candidates will have to appear for an interview. Their qualifications and experience will also be taken into account.

The candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs500 in the form of a DD drawn in the favor of Navsari Agricultural University Fund Account.
