Profile:
South Eastern Railway (SER) was started in July 1967. It has it’s headquarter at Garden Reach, Kolkata. It includes four divisions - Adra Railway Division, Chakradharpur Railway Division, Kharagpur Railway Division and Ranchi Railway Division. It has its Electric Multiple Unit sheds in Tikiapara and Panskura; Diesel locomotive sheds in Kharagpur, Bokaro Steel City, & Bondamunda; and Electric locomotive sheds in Santragachi, Tatanagar & Bondamunda. SER also has a coach maintenance yard at Santragachi, and a major workshop in Kharagpur.
Job Profile:
South Eastern Railway invites applications from eligible and interested Ex-servicemen for filling up the post of Trackman/Gangman.

Pay Scale - Rs. 5200-20200 with GP of Rs. 1800
Eligibility:
Age Criteria – The candidates must fulfill the following age criteria as on 01.01.2011.
UR candidates must be 30 yrs + extent of military service + 3 yrs.
SC/ST candidates must be 35 yrs + extent of military service + 3 yrs.
OBC candidates must be 33 yrs + extent of military service + 3 yrs.
Qualification - Ex-Serviceman who has retired after successful service of 15 years in the armed force of the Union of India. The candidates must have passed Army Class-I certificate or equivalent.
Selection Process:
Candidates are selected for the post after considering their qualification and experience. Candidates will be finally selected only after verification of original documents. SER will not conduct any written examination/interview and physical efficiency test.
