T.S. Narayanaswami College of Arts and Science is one among the different institutions working under the jurisdiction of the Madras University and the college was established by the India Cements Educational Society. The college came into existence in the academic year 1996-97 at a place called Thundalam Village and it was shifted to its present permanent campus at Navalur from the educational year 2000-2001.

Placement Cell:

A placement cell is functioning in the T.S. Narayanaswami College of Arts and Science and it performs the following functions:

• Nurtures the industry-institute interaction by arranging and managing frequent industrial visits, and offering training to the students through projects in relevance to industries with sole objective of bridging the gap between education and industry

• Gets and forwards the feedback pertaining to curriculum improvement from the visiting companies to the faculty members to ensure that the syllabus follows the latest trends pertaining to industry

• Ensures that every student clearly defines his/her career interest through expert counseling

• Organizes campus placement programs to meet the commitment of a job to every student

Transport facilities:
