Chemistry has many branches and we can divide it into three broad divisions-Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and In-organic Chemistry. Physical Chemistry deals with the study of Kinematics and atomic, subatomic, macroscopic phenomena taking place in the chemical systems with the help of physical concepts and laws governing them.  The various concepts of Physics like force, energy, motion, thermodynamics, statistical mechanics, quantum chemistry etc are applied in physical chemistry.
