The topics which are discussed in this paper are various types of therapy used and the effects of this, principle, procedure and working of it, Henderson-Hasselbalch equation, Ligand and Sequestering agents, Mohr’s and modified Volhard’s methods for the determinations of halide ions, complexometric titration, Chelating agents, Iodimetry, Gravimetric analysis etc.

Division of paper:

The question paper is divided into three parts of which part I contains essay type questions, part II contains short notes and part III of the paper is of short answer type questions.

Time and marks allotted:

The total time allocated for solving this paper is of three hours and the maximum marks that can be secured in this paper is 90.

Paper Pattern:

The question paper consists of a total of 20 questions. All the questions of this paper are subjective type. There are three questions in the first part which is essay type. The questions of this section are long answer type. Only 2 questions are to be answered out of three questions. The maximum mark contained by this section is 40. The section is short notes type containing a total of 10 questions, of which only 8 are required to be answered correctly with a total 40 marks. The last section is the short answer type with 7 questions in this sections of which only 5 are to be answered.
