Veerbhumi Government P.G. College was established on the 26th of January 1973 under private ownership. During the year 1981, when Mr. V.P. Singh came as the Chief Minister, the Uttar Pradesh Management Committee insisted on provincialization of the college for its betterment and during that time, the college was given name as Government PG College, Mahoba and later the college was named as Veerbhumi Government PG College, Mahoba and was affiliated to Bundlekhand University.

Eligibility for admission:

For UG degree courses, candidates with not less than 33% of marks at the intermediate level or equivalent qualification are eligible for admission.

Admission Procedure:

Veerbhumi Government PG College offers admission on the basis or merit or marks obtained in the qualifying examination according to the policy of the affiliating university and state government. Reservation of seats for reserved category candidates will on the basis of the rules of state or central government, whichever is applicable.

Computer Education at Veerbhumi Government PG College:

The college widely accepts the fact that computer has become the most amazing bearing as well as the best teaching tool and therefore, it offers computer education to the students as a part of the course curriculum. Each and every student of the college is offered with computer and internet accessibility. In addition, the computer lab in the college has the capacity to accommodate 20 students at a time and this has made group computer education possible.

Academic Session at the college:

Each academic session will have 200 working days and minimum working hours in a day is 6 and a week has six working days. During these 200 days, physical presence of students is compulsory.
