Chhattisgarh is a state located in the central part of the nation and the state was formed in the year 2000. The state is the 10th largest state in the nation and it is bordered by the state of Uttar Pradesh on the north, Jharkhand on the northeast, Orissa on the east, Andhra Pradesh on the south, Maharashtra on the west and Madhya Pradesh on the northwest. The state has many educational institutions offering education in different faculties and legal education is also gaining importance among the students of the state.

Legal Education in Chhattisgarh:

Most of the Law colleges in the states of Chhattisgarh offer three-year LLB course for graduates and even some colleges offer five-year integrated course of B.A. LLB for higher secondary completed candidates. The law colleges in the state are not only popular for the quality of education, but are also popular for the best infrastructural facilities and moot court facilities for enabling the future lawyers to practice for their professional even before they complete their whole course of law. Most of the multi-faculty universities in the state have a separate faculty for law courses and they confer law degree on candidates successfully getting through all three-years of the LL.B Course and some of the colleges also offer PG course in law, which is meant for candidates with an UG degree in law. Even some law colleges offer placement facility and guidance to the students for planning their future career in their desired professional of law.

    I’ve done Engineering and MBA, and right now I am working with National Insurance Company limited posted in Raipur, Chattisgarh. I am interested in doing LLB, kindly give me suggestions from where I can do the same. I’ll not be able to attend the full time course, so kindly give me the name of colleges from where I can do the same as part time or evening colleges.
