Bachelor of Hotel & Tourism Management:

The duration of this course is four years and this course is offered by VIHTM with affiliation from Saurashtra University and with approval from the All India Council for Technical Education. For getting into this course, candidates must have completed their higher secondary in commerce, science or arts stream with at least 50% of aggregate marks for general category candidates and at least 45% for SC/ST candidates. It is compulsory that candidates must have studied English as a subject at their higher secondary level. Even candidates who are waiting for their higher secondary exam results can apply to this course. Admission to this course will be done strictly on merit basis under Admission Committee for Professional Courses of Gujarat Government. For this course, the approved intake capacity of the institution is 60 students per year. Reservation policy is followed by the institution according to the rules laid by the Gujarat Government.

One-year Diploma course in Hotel Management:

For this course, candidates must be graduates in any discipline and this course is offered by VIHTM with approval from B.S.S. New Delhi.

Other Diploma courses:

The eligibility requirement to seek admission to other diploma courses offered by VIHTM is that candidates must have completed their class 10 examination from a recognized board. This course is also offered by VIHTM with approval from B.S.S. New Delhi.

How to apply:

To get prospectus and application forms for the courses offered by VIHTM, candidates must send a DD for Rs.350 drawn in the name of VIHTM payable at Rajkot. Application form can also be downloaded from the website of the institution and in the case of downloading of application, candidates will have to send the duly filled in application along with six passport size photos and DD towards the cost of application form.

On successful completion of BHTM course, candidates can find placement in top hotels through the training and placement cell functioning in the institution.
