The district of Gurdaspur is located in the Indian state of Punjab and the northwestern part of the nation. The district has the city of Gudaspur as its headquarters and the district is internationally bordered with the Narowal District of the Pakistani Punjab, Kangra and Chamba Districts of the state of Himachal Pradesh, Amritsar and Hoshiarpur districts of the state of Punjab and Kathua District of the state of Jammu & Kashmir in four sides.
