Structure of West Bengal University of Technology M.Tech in Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering Entrance Exam

WBUT M.Tech in Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering entrance exam is carried out as a single paper test. The total time allotted for the examination is 2 hours. There will be 50 questions and each question carries two marks each. The model of the questions is objective. The marks distributed for multiple choice questions is 80 (40 questions). The rest 20 marks are for general aptitude questions. There will be minus marks for wrong answers. One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Eligibility Criteria

Like any other M.Tech Entrance test, pass in B.E/B.Tech degree is the basic qualification required to appear for the entrance test. The qualification must be obtained from a reputed professional institute with specialization on Electronics and Communication Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering. Those who have completed M.Sc in Electronics / Physics (specialization in electronics) or equivalent are also eligible to apply.

How to Apply?

Eligible candidates should visit the official web portal of West Bengal University of Technology to collect the application form. Downloaded application form must be filled by following the guidelines given (in the website). This must be sent to the address of Chairman, PGET Board, West Bengal University of Technology,  BF-142 , Sector-I , Salt Lake City, Kolkata – 700 064. The candidate should sent the examination fee (in the form of DD) along with the application form. The DD taken must be of Rs. 500/- in favor of the ‘Chairman, PGET Board, West Bengal University of Technology’.

How to fill the Form?

• Complete the columns in the form with correct information
• Sent the completed application form along with the DD to the destination before last date.
• Don’t forget to write the candidate’s name on the back of the Demand Draft
