Indo-US Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) and Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) in a combined form offers the program of Research Internship in Science and Engineering (RISE) that spans in the field of Science, Engineering, Technology and Medical. The Program offers unique opportunities to the several candidates of Indian Nationality to achieve an internship in several National Laboratories, academic research institutes, federal research centers and private R & D laboratories within the United States of America.

The candidates that are presently involved in pursuing either a Masters or a Ph. D degree in the field of Technology, Science, Medical or Engineering have the eligibility to apply for the RICE Program. The Duration of the RISE Program spans to a period of three-six months. The candidates who will be selected for the following program will be endowed with several perks that includes accommodation, regular Monthly Stipend as well as Airfare Charges during the spanned Internship Periods. The Program by some critics have been termed as a unique opportunities for the Indian based students to gain an international exposure and at the same time achieve a professional based experience and thus in the process improve upon the practical skills.

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidate should be an Indian citizen doing Master’s/PhD in Science, Engineering, Technology or Medical Disciplines from a recognised institute.
