K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research is situated in Mumbai. The Institute is among the best B-Schools of our country.  KJSIMSR was awarded as the “Best Management Institute for the year 2007 - 08″ by Management Association.

The institute offers a two years PGDM course and PGDM in International Business.

The selection procedure of KJSIMSR is a four stage process. As the first stage the applicants are required to sit for CAT or GMAT and to fill the Somaiya Application form. The next stage involves the short listing of the candidates based on the scores of CAT/GMAT. The third stage consists of a GD, a PI and a Written Communication Test. The fourth and the final stage is based on all the above stages and is the final selection of the applicant.

Performance in the GD, PI and the Communication Test is a key factor in getting admission to the Institute. Work experience is another parameter which the institute can consider for short listing of the applicants.

NRI students have to submit the GMAT scores to the institute.

Students can apply for both PGDM and PGDM (IB), provided they pay the application fee for both the courses separately.
