Mumbai University offers the course of B.E in Computer Science. The question paper of the Applied Mathematics in the 04th Semesters contains a maximum of seven questions with candidates having to attempt five. Each of the questions carries a maximum of twenty marks. The total marks of the questions paper is 100 in theory, 25 for oral and laboratorial work and 25 for term work. There are basically three segments having a fixed number of questions to attempt. Candidates have to attempt atleast one question from each of the segments and a total of five.

The University conducts annual exam for the 04th Semester Applied Mathematics paper. Candidates are advised to follow different Mock based questions in order to gain high marks in the exam. Each of the questions in the paper is actually sub-divided into different number of questions. These questions are either long type, subjective, objective or multiple types. Candidates are also advised to attempt equal number of questions from all the segments. The question paper also has a fixed number of multiple types, with candidates offered options in these questions also. Both theoretical as well as practical based questions are asked in the exam.
