The paper also contains different modulation techniques of Amplitude such as AM-FC, AM-SC, and SSB-SC. The papers also come across the different types of AM receivers and detector.

Paper pattern:

Principles of Communication Engineering Paper are included in the 4th semester of Information Technology and the paper has seven questions. The first question is compulsory for each candidate and it is of 20 marks. It is upon the candidates to choose remaining four questions from the rest part of the paper. Questions from 2-7 are carrying 10 marks each. The candidates are asked to put the number of the question before starting their answer and correct answer will lead to full marks.

Total marks and time allotted:

The communication engineering paper consists of a total of 100 marks and the total time given to each candidate to complete the questions is three hours.
