Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation is the road transport corporation owned by the state government of Andhra Pradesh and it is acknowledged as the only corporation with largest fleet of buses in the whole world. As a result of this, the corporation has been certified by the Guinness World Records for effective management of largest fleet of buses.

Eligibility requirements:

Eligibility requirements to be fulfilled by different category of candidates are given below:

Ex-Servicemen personnel: Candidates must have passed III form or equivalent examination and their conduct must be notified as exemplary in defence certificate. Candidates must not be above 45 years of age as on the 1st of July 2011.

Male Civilians: Candidates must have passed matric or its equivalent examination and they should not be below 18 years and above 27 years as on the 1st of July 2011, which is relaxable by five years for BC/ST/SC Candidates.

Female Civilians: Candidates must have passed SSC or its equivalent examination and they should not be below 18 years and above 30 years as on the 1st of July 2011, which is relaxable by five years for BC/ST/SC Candidates.

Physical Standards: For general civilians and ex-servicemen candidates, they must not be below 160 cms in height for ST candidates and for other candidates it is not less than 168 cms. They should not have below 78.8 cms chest on full-inspiration with at least an expansion of 5 cms in respect to ST candidates and not below 87 cms with minimum expansion of 5 cms for other category candidates.

For female candidates, they must not be below 5” feet or 52.5 cms in height and weight of 45.5 kgs.

Application fee:

Application fee of Rs.200 and Rs.200 making a total of Rs.400 to be paid by OC candidates and reserved category and departmental candidates will have to pay application fee alone of Rs.200. The respective fee should be paid by the candidates through AP online centres and immediately after making payment, candidates will have to enter their personal details like community, data of birth, name and Father’s name and on entering these details, they will be getting downloadable receipt with journal number and this should be used for making online application. Fee can be paid by the candidates from 05th January 2012 to 23rd of January 2012 upto 5.00 pm
