Nizam State Rail & Road Transport Department (NSR-RTD) that was set up in 1932 came to be known as Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) in the year 1958. The primary vision of APSRTC is to provide high quality of transport services constantly in a manner to satisfy the passengers completely.

The APSRTC works hard to obtain a pre-eminence position in the Bus Transport sector by continuously improving the services through successful teamwork. The whole network of APSRTC is under the control of 23 regional mangers operating at seven different zones. The zonal head quarters of the corporation is located in the city of Hyderabad.

Job Profile:

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of Technical Officers under training by the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC).

Pay Scale – Stipend of Rs. 19000 + Grade pay of Rs. 2700 per month during the one year training. After successful training, candidates will be appointed as Assistant Traffic manager/ Assistant Mechanical Engineer (class-I Junior Scale officer) with pay scale of Rs. 19000-1000-39000 + allowances.

Eligibility:

Educational qualification – The candidates must have done Master’s degree in any discipline with at least second class, or they must be second class Law graduates, or they must be Engineering graduates or they must have passed Sections A & B of the Associate Membership exam of Institution of Engineering in any discipline of Engineering. The selection process will be through written test and interview.
