Dr BR Ambedkar University is one of the prominent Universities that offer several regular and professional courses to the candidates. The university invites applications for the course of Master in Education every year. The course duration is two years and medium of instruction is English.  Admission to the course is made on the basis of entrance exam, conducted by the University.

Eligibility Criteria

Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the course. Candidates who seek admission to M.Ed programme in Dr B. R. Ambedkar University are required to secure a minimum of 55 % marks in aggregate in their graduation in Education. Candidates belonging to reserved categories need to secure only 50 % marks to qualify. Candidates are required to have a minimum of 2 years experience as Teachers/ Administrators at any level in a recognized Department of Education or institution at the time of admission. Candidates must complete 21 years of age at the time of admission.

Application Procedure

Candidates can obtain the application form by submitting the fee payment challan of Rs.100/- in the regional centres of the university. Examination fees can be paid by taking a Demand Draft from any nationalised bank in favour of Dr B. R. Ambedkar University. General category candidates are required to pay Rs. 700/- and candidates belonging to reserved category have to pay Rs. 500/- as examination fees. Fully filled applications along with necessary qualifying documents and registration fees should be submitted in any of the regional centre of the university within the allotted time. Late applications and applications without registration fees will be rejected.

Exam Pattern

The duration of the test is three hours. Question pattern of M.Ed entrance exam will be in objective type multiple choice format. Questions will be in English and Hindi. There will be two hundred questions. Each question carries one mark. There will be no negative marking in the test. Candidates can expect questions from the following topics.

Final selection to the admission will be made on the scores obtained by the candidates in the entrance test against the seats available.
