Since you have done Bsc in Biotechnology, you further need to pursue Msc in any specialisation of Biotechnology. But you can employment opportunities even after completing Msc, no need to go further. Many pharmaceutical companies recruit Msc students. Or if you are interested in higher study and want to go in R&D, then it would be better to opt for Mtech -Phd program, then you can apply in foreign countries too, there is huge demand for phd graduates in biotechnology research . So, depending on what are your requirement & interested, chose which way you want to go . |

To get admission for M.tech course you have to qualified in any of the Examination GATE / AIEEE / BITSAT/ TANCET . Then only you may get admission for M.tech course . Without the Entrance Examination score card you may not get admission for M.tech course I So, If your qualified in this Entrance Examination then you may get admission in top M.tech colleges . M.tech stands for Master of Technology . The duration of the course is for two years and the course is divided into four semester and this course having good scope in both the private as well as Government sectors . without GEAT Exam you can get chance for M.E/M.tech by given University Personal entrance exam like Jadavpur university takes the entrance exan BESU BITS colleges arrange an entrance exam kerala state arrange an entrance Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra University of Rajasthan, Jaipur Bharathiar University, Coimbatore Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi Jamia Hamdard University, Kamdard Nagar, Delhi Thanks.. |

Re: Am I eligible to do M.Tech course after completion of B.Sc in Biotechnology?
You can not apply for the Master of Technology after completing B.Sc. You will need B.Tech degree to take admission for M.Tech. Apart from that if you have completed M.Sc then too you can apply for the M.Tech.
After completing Bachelor of Science you basically have two options. First would be to complete M.Sc and then apply for the M.Tech. Second option would be to complete B.Tech followed by the Master of Technology course. You can apply for lateral entry into B.Tech after having completed B.Sc. There are several engineering colleges in India that offer admission to the B.Sc graduates for B.Tech. The admission is given in the second year of B.Tech. This is same as the diploma holders. You should have at least 50 percent marks in B.Sc to apply for admission in B.Tech through lateral entry scheme. Several colleges conducts their separate written tests for admission. Please remember that entrance exams conducted for B.tech admission like AIEEE, ISEET are useless if want admission through lateral entry. You should also remember that Indian Institute of Technology and National Institute of Technology does not offer admission through lateral entry. Other option as I mentioned would be M.Sc. You can apply for M.Tech after completing M.Sc course. Apart from that candidates who have completed Master of Computer Applications can also apply for the M.Tech course. To do so you will have to appear for General Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE). It does not matter if you have completed B.Tech, M.Sc or MCA. All the candidates are required to appear for the General Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE) in order to take admission for the M.Tech course. |
