Baba Farid University of Health Sciences- M.B.B.S. (Final Prof. Part-I) E.N.T. Papers is a short paper in terms of marks allotted, however time given to complete the paper is comparatively not that short. We will be discussing just mentioned both the attributes in subsequent paragraphs.

How the paper would look like?

Paper would look like something very similar to something written in black on a white ground. Our intention here is not to give you an idea about the design and ink used for the paper, but to give you a closer picture of what you might expect in terms of content. Generally, this M.B.B.S. (Final Prof. Part-I) E.N.T. Paper contain 6 questions divided equally into two parts “Part I” and “Part II”. As already said this is a general trend, but you should not take it for granted as the intention of paper-setter is to make you write for a total of 40 marks. To give you an example, back in 2006 only 4 questions were required to be answered.

Moreover, this is an “attempt all questions” type paper and you should also not be surprised to see sub-divisions in each and every question. Besides, it is also required that you start each part on a separate sheet.

Topics that generally find their way into the question paper

Some of the favorite topics of the paper-setter include Rhinosporodiosis and Rhinoscopy, Indirect laryngoscopy, Tracheostomy – its care and complications, Tonsillitis, Otitis Media, nasal cavity, Qunisy, Bell’s palsy, vocal cord palsy, CSOM and its complications, Adenoids, tympanic membrane etc.

Maximum time allotted to complete the paper

As mentioned earlier in paper pattern section, maximum marks for the paper is 40 and for that a maximum of 3 hours is allotted to the candidates writing this paper.
