Admission Requirements:

Candidates seeking admission to DIATM should have completed higher secondary examination from the West Bengal Council of Higher Education or any other approved board. In all the branches of engineering, of the total number of seats, 80% of the seats are filled on merit secured by the students in the Joint Entrance Examination conducted by the West Bengal State Government. 10% of the seats are filled on the basis of merit secured by students in the AIEEE. Engineering diploma holder can get direct admission to the second year of the B. Tech degree course in the appropriate branch on successful completion of the Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry conducted by the state government. Students should also satisfy the standard of physical fitness with good physical and mental health.

Placement assistance cell is considered as backbone of the institute and this cell offers several facilities like professional training, vocational training, industry interaction, career planning and seminars & workshops to make the students prepared to enter into their desired industry.
